charters:
Charter your next fishing trip with Flukin
Sportfishing Charters. We target fluke, winter
flounder, striped bass, tautog, black sea bass,
bluefish, scup and tuna. Our rates are very
affordable. We will take a maximum of four
persons fishing or sightseeing. We are
conveniently located right off U.S. Route 1 at
Lockwood's Marina, 650 Succotash Road, East
Matunuck, Rhode Island.
Equipment:
The boat is a Boston Whaler 180 Outrage powered
by a 150 horsepower Mercury Optimax. It has a
T-top (for shade), GPS/Chartplotter, fishfinder
and marine VHF radio. There are two coolers, a
livewell, ample rod holders and all Coast Guard
required equipment. We use quality Penn rods and
reels.
Provisions:
We provide bottled water, ice, bait, Captain and
the boat. Rods and reels can be rented at $7.00
each or you may use your own equipment if you
prefer. You should wear non-marking rubber soled
shoes or boots, bring a warm sweatshirt or
jacket, hat, sunglasses, sun block and a lunch.
Beer is allowed in cans. No glass bottles
please.
The
Captain:
Chuck Boranian is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard 25
Gross Ton Master Captain with over ten years of
experience on Rhode Island waters. He has been
fishing for nearly forty years. He will put you
on the fish and get you to homeport safely.
Rates:
$60.00 per hour.
Licensed &
Insured:
A $100 deposit is required within 7 days of the
day you book your trip. Cancellations must be
made within 7 days of your trip. A fuel
surcharge may be incurred. The Captain reserves
the right to cancel a trip due to inclement
weather, in which case a rebook or full refund
will be offered.
